Youth
Our youth meets on Wednesday evenings at 7 PM under the leadership of Kellie Williams. We have a strong core of kids who love God, know His Word, and desire to walk according to His will. Our goal is to help the students know what it means to truly be a disciple of Jesus Christ in both word and deed and to teach them how to take that message with them wherever they go.
Each week is unique depending on how the Spirit leads but what is constant is that the Word of God is preached without compromise, with both humor and conviction, and that there is plenty of time made for just “hangin out” whether in playing dodge ball, knock out, or time to chat. There are often give-aways such as candy or gift cards for things such as knowing a Bible verse, bringing a friend, or just for coming. We believe in spending time together away from church as well which has included a lake party, “all-nighters”, going to concerts, or playing a variety of games at someone’s home.
Men’s
Eirc Hynden
Our men’s ministry is headed up by Eric Hynden who has a desire to see men be connected to the Body of Christ in a real and tangible way. We offer a variety of ways for them to get involved, meeting them at the place where they are at in their walk with Jesus Christ.
We have sports ministries which include basketball, softball and golf and various other events that include golf outings, football nights and other times of fellowship. We also have several small groups that meet throughout Fort Myers, both in the morning before work as well as in the evenings, where guys can be connected on a more personal level. These groups are led by mature believers and their time together consists of sharing a devotional, praying for one anther and in fellowship. The goal is to help men develop life-long friendships with other Godly men who are willing to come alongside and be there for one another.
Women’s
Women’s ministry at LWCC is led by Kellie Williams who is passionate to see women grow in their knowledge of the Word so that they can fully know the value they possess as daughters of the King and to learn to walk in power and authority over every circumstance in their life (2 Peter 1:2-8). She is just a girlfriend at heart who knows and understands the struggles women face today and considers them all her G.I.G.I.’s(Girlfriends in God, Inc.)! She has a core group of women who share both her passion of both the Word as well as “girlfriend time” and they are a vital part of the women’s ministry team.
We offer a weekly Bible study on Tuesday mornings from 9:30-11:30 that has included such authors as Beth Moore, John Bevere, Priscilla Shirer, and David Jeremiah. Kellie also hosts an annual women’s retreat every October which has been held at such places as the Marco Island Marriott as well as the Hyatt Regency Coconut Point. Over the past three years this event has grown and has proved to be life-changing for many women as we give the women time for both relaxation as well as powerful times of ministry in the Word and in the anointing of the Holy Spirit. We are also beginning a regular “girls night out” where we can come and spend time together in both the Word as well as FUN!

Outreach
LWCC is committed to fulfilling the Great Commission as stated in Matthew 28, not simply making “converts” but teaching people how to become disciples. To that end, while we firmly believe in supporting world missions, we also feel compelled that our first priority is to our “Jerusalem”, which is Fort Myers. We have been involved in purchasing and handing out meals at Thanksgiving, giving to needy families at Christmas time, as well as supporting other ministries that provide such items as food and clothing to the needy in our own backyard. Our desire is to meet physical needs so that we can have an inroads to meeting their spiritual needs. In all that we do, our desire is to bring the life-changing message of Jesus Christ to those who need it most.

Testimonies of Triumph - Gail Ross who is a member of LWCC hosts the weekly television program, “Testimonies of Triumph” on WRXY Christian television which can be seen on Mondays at 7:30am and Thursday at 8:00pm. This program can also be seen live streaming on wrxytv.com. Kellie Williams is also a regular guest on TOT where she and Gail have “table talk” at the end of each program. This show offers hope in God regardless of the “test” that you find yourself in!

Children’s
Breakthrough
Sherri Hynden
Sherri Hynden heads up our women’s “Breakthrough” Prayer Ministry. This ministry is for the mothers and grandmothers of LWCC who are committed in prayer for their children and grandchildren.
We all see the events going on in the world around us. Our children face tough choices and difficult challenges in their lives. As their mothers, we remain steadfast as we stand in the gap and lift our children in prayer.
This is an email-based ministry where mothers and grandmothers are dedicated to pray for, not only their own children, but also for the children on one another. We get together every other month to share testimonies, encourage one another and pray. Prayer changes things!

Our Missions
Why missions? Why should I be concerned about the global harvest of souls?
Sacred scripture is full of explicit as well as implicit references to God’s will for world evangelism. Most evangelical believers know the Great Commission: “Go ye into all the world.”
The Great Commission is only one reason for God’s people to be doing global mission. There are lots of other missions verses in God’s Word, starting in Genesis and going through Revelations. Into whatever groups we divide humanity — races, nations, languages, cultures — it is clear that God loves all of them and wants people from all those groupings to be reconciled to Him.
