Good morning,

Since we broke our Daniel Fast on Sunday… have you gone back to your old way of eating? have you gone back to your old way of praying or time in prayer? have you gone back to your old way of not expecting or doubt?

Don’t allow yourself to drift back to the way you were! The new way of living and the closeness you had with God during this fast can be yours all the time. I’m not talking about being on the Daniel diet all the time, I’m talking about starting and forming new habits in your life: bible reading/studying, praying regularly with expectancy, periodic fasting for power, getting together with other believers and singing, praying and hearing the Word.

The more we do something, experts say in 28-40 days it will become a habit. Can you imagine what our lives would look like if all those things were part of our daily living?

John 14:21 AMP

21 The person who has My commands and keeps them is the one who [really] loves Me; and whoever [really] loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I [too] will love him and will show (reveal, manifest) Myself to him. [I will let Myself be clearly seen by him and make Myself real to him.]
There’s a level of living you can only experience when you make the decision to please the Father in every activity of your life. On that level, Jesus becomes real to you and manifests Himself in you.  It was just about 100 years ago that God poured out His Spirit and a revival on Azusa Street began a fresh work of God. People’s entire lives were changed; everything else in their world seemed to lose importance. Supernatural things were happening.

These people involved in this revival were soon known as “holiness” people. They got this name because they were so different than anyone else. They let go of anything that didn’t please God. They were so interested in what God was doing in the spiritual realm they lost interest in the natural things.

Many people today don’t even know what “holiness” really means. Holiness means “separated to God; set apart”. It’s ordering your conduct according to the Word of God and the prompting of the Holy Spirit. Holiness is the habit of being of one mind with God, turning away from the ways of the world. This doesn’t happen to anyone by accident, it requires a decision and a willingness to do whatever it takes.

Love God with all your heart by keeping His commandments. He’ll show His love to you in ways you can’t imagine. He will pour Himself out on you just like He did on those believers at Azusa Street. Revival will begin in you and spread to others. PRAISE GOD!!!
Have a great week

Your Servant,

Pastor Grant

1 Peter 1:15-16 AMP

15 But as the One Who called you is holy, you yourselves also be holy in all your conduct and manner of living.
16 For it is written, You shall be holy, for I am holy.
